Item A� - Furnish and install two water check valves in lieu of the two va ves originally proposed: 2-15" "PRINCE" Pump ; heck Valves - Spring Assisted Series 1513, with carbon steel lug-water type bF ly, for installation between 125/150 lb. ANSI flanges, with 304 stainless steel disc and shaft, 316 stainless steel disc arm, bronze shaft bearings, Buna-N"O11 ring seat on 316 stainless steel support ring, Buna-N shaft seals, adjustable and replacable asbestos shaft packing, external adjustable carbon steel spring. (See attached for local distributor cut sheet). Item A2L - Furnish and install two knife valves in lieu of the two gate valves originally proposed: 2-611 "ROVALVES" Figure 20 with V port. See attached for local distributor and materials cut sheet. Item (B) - Furnisn and install trolley and chain hoist and supports as s own in accompanying sketches. Prior to fabricating the steel I beam and column structure, the fiberglass building should be set and dimensions for each part of the structure made to assure good fit within the housing without interfering with other appurtenant connections. We will be making an independent cost estimate of this work and will be ready to make an immediate recommendation on execution of change order No. 3 to the City.
