Remarks:
1) Locations: Upper Softball Field Western dugout monopoured retaining wall and thickened edge slab, South dugout curbwall;
Lower Baseball FieldEast dugout retaining and curb walls, South dugout curbwalls
2) Reinforcing: MTC verified the reinforcing steel at the locations noted above. Retaining walls had #4 bar at 9" oncenter each way
and each face. Curb/stemwalls had (2) continuous #4 bars. The slabongrade was reinforced with wire mesh. All reinforcing
was found to be secure and was of correct grade, size, location, spacing, lap and clearance, and was incompliance with approved
plans and specs.
3) Concrete: MTC witnessed the placement of 30 yards of Miles concrete mix #1250AF, 4500 psi minimum required strength. The
concrete was placed by truck chute and mechanically vibrated for consolidation. One set of five 4x8 cylinders was cast for
compressive strength testing.
To the best of MTC inspector's knowledge, the abovedescribed work was performed in general accordance with project
specifications and approved plans.
Work in progress. Additional inspection needed.
