Clearance from subgrade to reinforcing was accomplished during the duration of the pour. MTC inspector on site, as requested, to observe the placement of approximately 14 CY of concrete with Mix Design ID #1240AFG supplied by Miles into  dug out slab on grade at the location noted above. One set of five (4” x 8”) cylinders was cast for compressive strength test specimens. Refer to Report #4940/ Set2 for field test results and for more information. Concrete was placed via trucks’ chute, and finished by hand. Notable item:  Air content initially tested at 2.3%, minimum air content required is 3.5%. (Test was taken 1/2 way through SW Dugout of the Baseball Field). Miles QC adjusted air content prior to finishing dug outs. To the best of MTC inspector's knowledge, the above­described work was performed in general accordance with project specifications and approved plans.
