On the issue of emergency power, as directed by Ed O'Brian, we are
purchasing our own portable standby power unit. The plans and
specifications are being prepared right now, and I have attached

be completed within three weeks and I wit' submit them • rou AS
soon as possible for review and approval.
This should complete all the DOE reN ew comments on Phase II award.
Please notify me as soon as possible so we may award and execute
the contracts. Time is eery important, our Fisheries Permit shut-off
date this fall must he accommodated, so we need to start work as
sown as possible.
In your letter you have noted your concerns about the Honey Creek
Pump Station Emergency Power Unit's use, We will commit to make
the power units highest priority for use at the Honey Creek Sewage
Pump Station. To implement this priority ranking, we will:
Dept. of Ecology -2_
1. Label the Generator with this priority on a sign or painted
letters.
2. We will include this priority in the O 5 M manual for the pump
station.
3. we will include this priority in the water system emergency
plan now in preparation.
4. we will include this priority in a letter report to the city
Fire Department. The City Fire Department provides all of
City's emergency planning and response and has the ultimate
