Attention: Mr, 'Richard L. Shaffer
Dear Dicke
As requested, I have prepared and enclose the utility easement
across the north portions of Lots 47 and 48 In Fernwood North.
This easement is requested in order to allow the City to extend
sanitary cewers in accordance with our Comprehensive Plan and
a feasibility study prepared by LIRS Co, in 1977.
We did not request the easement at the time the plat was pro-
cessed because the properties just nort;i of Lot 47 are tinge
parcels and we would only have two property owners to deal
with in order to get to N.E. 4th St.; however, the property
owners jusf east of tnese two parcels would like service and
have indicated a willingness to give the City the easements
needed to extend sewers to N.E. 4th St,
As a result, and in full Compllav;e with Murphyrs law, the
larger Troup is turning out to be the easier group to deal
with to secure all necessary easements. iheretore, the two
lots in Fernwood North are needed so that the easements can
be connected up.
I also an losed a copv of the service area of this sewer line
AS defined by LRS Co. for your review. If you wish a complete
copy of the study please advise and I will provide you With one.
