Dear Ms. Wilks:
It has come to our attention that a Bill-of-Sale was never completed for the sani-
tary sewer which went into Cedar Avenue So. and was installed January of 1985.
While trying to determine who was the legal owner of this sanitary sewer , Jim Cox,
of Navin construction, Informed us that you had paid for this installation.
Although you may no longer own the property which originally required the Instal-
lation, the actual sanitary sewer line physically lies on public property. Unless
legally (specifically written out) transfered over with the property sold, this
sanitary sewer line still belongs to you, and you are liable should any breaks or
damage occur.
In order to properly transfer ownership and responsibility to the City of Renton,
a Bill-of-Sale must be signed, notarized, and returned to us. For your conveni-
ence, we have enclosed a Bill-of-Sale in which the necessary informaL.On has
already been filled in. Also enclosed is a copy of the sanitary sewer plan by
which you may recheck the information listed on the Bill-of-Sale before signing.
Several attempts, with no results, were made to contact you by phone and alert you
to this situation. Unable to reach you directly, we are resigned to sending this
letter. If, however, you have any questions regarding the Bill-of-Sale, feel free
