The responses may be considered along with all other information furnished to prospective bidders for the purpose of bidding on the project. The use of information provided in the responses to bidder inquiries is not to be construed in any way as a waiver of the provisions nor excuse the contractor from full compliance with the contract requirements. Bidders are cautioned that subsequent responses or contract addenda may affect or vary a response previously given and any such subsequent response or addenda should be taken into consideration when submitting a bid for the project. Bidder Inquiry No. 1 Through chat, Michael Rechnitz asked: “Can you confirm who is the contractor for Phase I?” City of Renton Response to Bidder Inquiry No. 1 Emma responded through chat, “The contractor for Phase 1 is Active Construction, Inc.” Bidder Inquiry No. 2 Michael asked “Will Phase I be completed before Phase II starts? If not, can you confirm the completion date?” City of Renton Response to Bidder Inquiry No. 2 Emma responded: “Phase 1 should be substantially completed before Phase 2 starts. There may be some overlap on when the contract is awarded that Phase 1 is still in final construction activity but for the most part we should be well out of the area of Phase 2 work to be occurring.” Bidder Inquiry No. 3 Michael: “Does this project require additional City Council approval after award? If so, is it already on a council agenda?” City of Renton Response to Bidder Inquiry No. 3 Brianne Bannwarth responded: “After or at bid award, we will have full council approval for the budget and project. And for the project to move forward. It is not currently on CAG-xx-xxx Summary of Bidders Inquiries No. 1 to No. 3 World Cup Legacy Square Phase 2 Page 2 of 2 2025 council agenda but it will be when we get the award or when we are ready to award.”
