MMM (13) SCHEDULE (14) to EC-Type Examination Certificate KEMA 08ATEX0157 X Issue No. 2 (15) Description The Compact Electromagnetic Flowmeter, types OPTIFLUX 2100 C and 4100 C is used for measuring, counting and displaying the linear flow of an electrically conductive liquid. The flowmeter consists of a steel primary head and an aluminium signal converter housing containing the electronics. These three circuits are infallibly galvanically isolated from all other non-intrinsically safe circuits to a peak value of the nominal voltage of 375 V. Installation instructions Certified cable glands and blanking elements shall be used that are suitable for the application and correctly installed. The devices shall provide a degree of protection of at least IP64 according to EN 60529. CERT01 VIA Page 2/3 MW (13) SCHEDULE (14) to EC-Type Examination Certificate KEMA 08ATEX0157 X Issue No. 2 Routine tests - EN 60079-1, clause 16; An overpressure test must be carried out on each primary head in type of protection flameproof enclosures "d" at a test pressure of 1,4 MPa during at least 10 seconds. No leakage or damage shall occur. - EN 50017, clause 13.2; The insulating properties of the filling material of the primary heads in type of protection powder filling "q"shall be tested. The leakage current shall not exceed 10-6 A. - EN 60079-7, clause 7.1 / EN 60079-18, clause 9.2; An electric strength test shall be carried out on the flowmeter in accordance with the Krohne Altometer high voltage routine test procedure dated 02.07.2008. - EN 60079-18, clause 9; Each primary head in type of protection encapsulation "mb" shall be subjected to a visual inspection. No damage shall be evident. (16) Test Report KEMA No. 212571400/2. (17) Special conditions for safe use - The relation between process temperature and temperature class is as in description (15) above. - The property class of the special fasteners of the Ex d primary heads shall be at least A*-70. - For details of the flameproof joint between the Ex d primary head and the cable feedthrough the manufacturer shall be contacted.
