The flowmeter consists of an aluminium signal converter housing containing the electronics and a steel primary head. See Attachment for more details and electrical data. CONDITIONS OF CERTIFICATION:YES as shown below: The property class of the special fasteners of the Ex d primary heads shall beat least A*-70. - For details of the flameproof joint between the Ex d primary head and the cable feedthrough the manufacturer shall be contacted. Annexe: ExTR09.0069 Attachment 1 to IECEx.doc OEM Attachment 1 to IECEx KEM 09.0073X Description The Compact Electromagnetic Flowmeter, types OPTI FLUX 2100 C and 4100 C is used for measuring, counting and displaying the linear flow of an electrically conductive liquid. The flowmeter consists of an aluminium signal converter housing containing the electronics and a steel primary head. The signal converter housing with electronics is in type of protection increased safety"e", encapsulation "mb" and intrinsic safety"i". The type of protection for the various sizes of the integral primary heads is as follows: DN10- DN20: encapsulation "mb" (field coils) and increased safety"e" (field coil wiring) or DN25- DN150: flameproof enclosures"d" (field coils and field coil wiring) or DN200 - DN3000: increased safety"e" (field coils and field coil wiring). The electrodes are in type of protection intrinsic safety"i". Ambient temperature range: -20 °C to+40 °C Process temperature range: -20 °C to+120 °C The degree of protection of the apparatus enclosure is at least IP64 according to IEC 60529.
