HomeMy WebLinkAboutreadmeFirstDescription installation of Imo Monitor 1.0.0.20. Be aware .Net Framework 2.0 is assumed to be installed (part of windows xp service pack 2). To install Imo Monitor: 1. insert installation cd Imo Monitor in cd player 2. start setup.exe and confirm the default settings. (just clicking the "Next" button and finally the "Close" button) Installation of ImoUsb adapter: 3. Connect imoUSB adapter to USB terminal of the PC. 4. The pc appears with a wizard. 5. The dialog asks: "Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software?". Select "No, not this time" and press "Next" button. 6. The dialog asks: "What do you want the wizard to do?". Select "Install the software automatically (Recommended)" and press "Next" button. 7. While the wizard is busy installing the software.. Imo-USB adapter with eeprom without firmware, the dialog "Hardware Installation" appears. Just enter the "Continue Anyway" button. 8. Finally the dialog "Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard" appears. Enter the "Finish" button. The installation is finished but there is no led indication. Start the Imo Monitor application: 9. C:\Program Files\Krohne\ImoMonitor\Relitech.Krohne.Tools.Ui.ImoMonitor.exe 10. The dialog "Firmware not downloaded" and wizard for installation "Imo-USB adapter with eeprom and with IMO-USB firmware" appears. The yellow led of the imo-USB adapter is flashing. The green led burns continuous. 11. The dialog asks: "Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software?". Select "No, not this time" and press "Next" button. 12. The dialog asks: "What do you want the wizard to do?". Select "Install the software automatically (Recommended)" and press "Next" button. 13. While the wizard is busy installing the software.. Imo-USB adapter with eeprom and with IMO-USB firmware, the dialog "Hardware Installation" appears. Just enter the "Continue Anyway" button. 14. Finally the dialog "Completing the Found New Hardware Wizard" appears. Enter the "Finish" button. 15. Enter button "OK" of the dialog "Firmware not downloaded" 16. Exit the Imo Monitor application 17. Start the Imo Monitor application again. The application is ready for communication with the IFC converter.
