Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 09-13-2025 at 1504 hours I was dispatched to a two vehicle accident at Rainier Ave S and S 4th PL in the
city of Renton, King County WA. I arrived on scene and met with both parties. It was determined the crash
occurred in the parking lot at 504 Renton Center Way SW.
I spoke with the driver of Unit 1, Ruben Delgado who was identified by his WA driver's license. Delgado said he
was in the parking lot of the Animal Health Center. He drove out of the lot, stopped at the stop sign then
proceeded through. He did not see unit 2 coming and his vehicle was struck on the rear driver's side. He stated
unit 2 was driving too fast and estimated 30-35 MPH.
I spoke with the driver of Unit 2 Trevianna Chillies who was identified by her WA driver's license. Chillies
stated she was driving east on the 2-way driveway that connects 595 Renton Center Way SW to S 4th
PL/Rainier Ave S when Unit 1 pulled out from 504 S Renton Center Way. Unit 2 did not have time to stop and
struck the side of Unit 1.
Based on the information above it appears that Ruben was the proximate cause of the collision for failing to
yield the right of way. Both sides were given the case number.
