Narrative
ASSIGNMENT/ARRIVAL
On 09/19/2025 at approximately 1636 hours, I was dispatched to a two-vehicle collision that
occurred in the 300 block of Main Avenue S in the city of Renton, King County,Washington.
I arrived at approximately 1640 hours.
UNIT 1: HONDA ACCORD
Upon arrival I located a silver Honda Accord (WA/ BWM7363, Unit 1) parked in a parking lot at
the northwest corner of Main Avenue S and S 4th Street. Unit 1 had been moved from its point of
rest prior to my arrival. Unit 1 had minor damage (scratches and paint transfer)to the rear
passenger door.
UNIT 2: BUICK LACROSSE
I located a white Buick Lacrosse (WA/CSV6713, Unit 2) parked in the same parking lot. Unit 2
had been moved from its point of rest prior to my arrival. Unit 2 had minor damage (scratches)to
the front driver fender.
DRIVER 1: BRUNDAGE, REBECCA M.
I contacted Rebecca M. Brundage (DOB: 01/05/1998) in the driver seat of Unit 1. 1 positively
identified Brundage by her valid Washington Driver License and established her as the driver of
Unit 1 by her admission. Brundage was not injured in the collision.

This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

I contacted Tegan T. Vasquez (DOB: 10/08/1980) near Unit 2. 1 positively identified Vasquez by
her expired Washington Driver License and established her as the driver of Unit 2 by her
admission. Vasquez was not injured in the collision.
STATEMENT:VASOUEZ.TEGAN T.
I spoke with Vasquez about the collision.The following is a summary of our conversation:
Vasquez drove Unit 2 south in the number one (closest to curb) lane in the 300 block of Main
Avenue S. Unit 1 drove next to Unit 2, south in the number two lane in the 300 block of Main
Avenue S.
Unit 1 merged from lane two into lane one, striking Unit 2.
Brundage agreed with this version of events. Brundage said she checked her mirror and blind
spot, but did not see Unit 2 before she changed lanes.
PROXIMATE CAUSE
The proximate cause of the collision was determined by damage observed to Unit 1 and Unit 2,
as well as Vasquez's statement.
Brundage's action was the proximate cause of the collision, namely her violation of RCW
46.61.140(1), which states:
A vehicle shall be driven as nearly as practicable entirely within a single lane and shall
not be moved from such lane until the driver has first ascertained that such movement
can be made with safety.
Brundage was the driver of a vehicle (Honda Accord, Unit 1)that moved her vehicle from such

CITATION
I issued Brundage a citation for a violation of RCW 46.61.140(1) (Citation #5A0688586) and filed
it with the Renton Municipal Court.
DISPOSITION
This concluded my involvement in this case.
