Type: Hit and Run Traffic Collision/Unattended

Victim: Rico L Marcus (DOB: 12-27-1969)
On 02-28-2025 at approximately 1741 hours, 1 was dispatched to a non-injury traffic collision in the parking lot
of Home Depot at 901 S Grady Way in the City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington. 1 arrived on
scene at approximately 1742 hours.
I contacted the registered owner of Unit#2, Rico L Marcus (DOB: 12-27-1969) in the parking lot next to his
Chevrolet Corvette (WA-RC7VERT). I observed front end damage to the vehicle which was legally parked in a
parking stall. Rico told me while he was inside shopping a vehicle hit the front of his vehicle and caused the
damage. Rico told me when he parked his vehicle there was a large truck that might have belonged to a
landscaping type company one parking stall away. Rico thought the truck had a trailer as well attached to it.
When he came outside the truck was gone and there were no other vehicles near his vehicle.
I attempted to contact Loss Prevention with Home Depot to review the cameras covering the parking lot with
negative results.
