As per dispatch, both parties involved had already parked their vehicles in the parking lot of 601 Monster Rd Sw. Upon arrival, I confirmed there were no complaints of injury, however due to the age of the driver of Unit#2 and passenger side air bag deployments, I requested fire for a medical evaluation. Subsequently, I collected each of the involved party's driving documents and their independent recollection of the events leading up to the collision. The driver of Unit#1 said he was the sole occupant of his vehicle and was leaving work, taking a left out of the parking lot at the above listed location and north on to Monster Road SW. The driver of Unit #1 stated that he was headed towards the stop sign at the intersection of Monster Road SW and Oakesdale Ave SW to eventually take a right on to Oakesdale Ave Sw. While proceeding, the driver of Unit#1 did not notice that Unit#2 was headed southbound on Monster Road SW and Unit#1 collided into the right side of Unit#2, causing moderate damage to the front bumper of Unit#1. The driver of Unit#2 said she was headed southbound after turning right onto Monster Road SW from Oakesdale Ave SW. The driver of Unit#2 reported that as she as proceeding south, Unit#1 pulled out of the parking lot from the above listed location, and collided into the right side of Unit#2, causing moderate damage to both front and rear passenger side doors. Based on the aforementioned, I determined that the driver of Unit#1 (Abduljalil Islampoor) was the proximate cause for the collision as Abduljalil Islampoor did not properly grant the right of way to traffic in the roadway. Abduljalil Islampoor was not paying attention to the traffic in the roadway, causing a collision. Both Unit#1 and Unit#2 were able to be driven away from the scene without further incident.
