EG29023 CASE# 25-7774 DATE OF COLLI r�510NN + 09/06/25 14:38 L1 NARRATIVE On 09/06/2025 at about 1440 hours I was dispatched to a blocking motor vehicle collision at the intersection of NE 10th St/Kirkland Ave NE within the city limits of Renton, King County, Washington. When 1 arrived Unit 2 (grey colored 2017 Mazda M3 with Washington state temporary license plate A8697256) was partially blocking the intersection. Unit 2 was unable to be driven, but it was pushed off to the side of the road clearing the intersection. Unit 1 (red colored 2018 Toyota Rav4 with Washington state license plate BXT4585) was pulled off to the side of the road just north of the intersection. The driver of Unit 2 (Gabriel D. Paredes Alcazar) explained he was traveling eastbound on NE 10th St when he came to a stop at the intersection of NE 10 St/Kirkland Ave NE. A visible stop sign was posted at the intersection. Gabriel remembered seeing a vehicle in front of Unit 1 that was stopped at the stop sign of the northbound lane of Kirkland Ave NE. After that vehicle proceeded through the intersection Gabriel continued eastbound. As Unit 2 entered the intersection it was struck on its passenger side by Unit 1 causing Unit 2 to spin in a circle while in the intersection. Gabriel was not injured, but his two passengers complained of pain. The front and rear passenger side airbags of Unit 2 were deployed. Cristian I. Rendon Rodriguez was seated in the front passenger seat of Unit 2 and complained of a headache and pain to his right thigh. Ronaldo J. Lopez Estrella was seated in the rear seat behind the driver, and he complained of pain to his left knee. Cristian and Ronaldo both declined aide. Unit 2 had damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. Unit 2 was driven to Gabriel's residence located about one block from the collision but given its condition the vehicle would not be able to be driven safely any further. The driver of Unit 1 (Ana M. Jacobo) explained that she was traveling northbound on Kirkland Ave NE when she came to a stop at the intersection of NE 10th St/Kirkland Ave NE. Ana waited for the vehicle on her right to proceed through the intersection, and then she continued northbound. As Unit 1 entered the intersection it collided into Unit 2 that was traveling eastbound. I asked Ana if there was a vehicle stopped in her lane of travel at the intersection as she arrived, but she claimed there was not. Ana complained of minor pain to her back, but she was not evaluated by medics at the scene. Unit 2 had damage to the front end of the vehicle, and it was able to be driven from the scene. Gabriel was approached by a witness (Pamela Moraski) who claimed to have seen the collision. 1 called and spoke to Pamela, and she informed me that she was on the south side of NE 10th St walking eastbound when the collision occurred. Pamela was about 25 feet from the intersection when she looked up and saw Unit 2 driving through the intersection. She looked away and then heard the collision, but she did not see the impact. Neither of the passengers inside Unit 2 saw what led up to the collision. They just saw the impact. I am unable to determine who was at fault for this collision. I gave both drivers a Renton PD business card with the case number. 1 took photos of the vehicles and submitted the photos to Axon. Gabriel purchased his vehicle on the day of the collision (09/06/2025) and had yet to purchase insurance for the vehicle. Gabriel was cited for not having proof of vehicle insurance (infraction #5A0074175), and the infraction was sent to the court. PAGE 3 OF 4 REPORT NO.
