I was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on 09/14/25 at the intersection of Park Ave N and N 3rd
St, in city Renton, King County WA.
Unit 1 CTE9446 Driver: Jozlynn B. Pierce (DOB 03/04/2005)
Unit 2 BON9279 Driver: Marcela Banda-Martinez (DOB 01/18/1997)
Upon arriving on scene, I spoke to Unit 2 driver who told me that they were traveling in lane 1 headed
South no Park Ave N when approaching the intersection of N 3rd St. Unti 2 said that everything
happen so fast the light was green, she went to drive through the intersection and was then hit. She
also stated that unit 1 had multiple people that got out of the vehicle and ran once the accident
happen.
Unit 1 told me that she was in lane 2 traveling East on N 3rd St when approaching Park Ave N and N
3rd St. She said that she believed the light to be yellow are green and knew she had the right of way
when she got into the accident. She said she had other people with her, and they left due to
something they had going on. When asked for insurance Unit 1 said that she has it at home and was
unable to provide proof of it.
Both witnesses on scene spoke to additional officer on scene and stated that Unit 2's light was green
when Unit 1 ran the redlight hitting Unit 2. Witness was behind Unit 2.
The driver of Unit 1 was cited for driving a motor vehicle without proof of insurance and not obeying a
traffic control legend.
