Narrative
On 08/29/2025 at approximately 1746 hours I was advised by dispatch of a hit and run collision
that occurred in the area of Rainier Ave S and S 3rd St,within the city limits of Renton, King
County, WA. Dispatch advised the reporting party was stating that on 08/27/2025 a hit and run
collision occurred to his vehicle.
I contacted the reporting party by phone. He verbally identified himself to me as DONALD D.
DAVIDSON (DOB 06/16/1943). DAVIDSON told me that on 08/27/2025 at approximately 9:30am,
he was driving northbound on Rainier Ave S approaching S 3rd St.The vehicle traveling
northbound in the lane to the right of him side swiped the passenger side of DAVIDSON's
vehicle, causing damage to the front right corner of vehicle.The suspect vehicle drove away and
did not stop to exchange information. DAVIDSON told me he did not see the other driver and
described the suspect vehicle as a newer body style white colored box truck, unknown
make/model/license plate number. DAVIDSON described his vehicle to me as a white colored
2021 Subaru Forester,WA license plate CPY2745. I provided DAVIDSON with the case number
and then ended my contact with him.
I was unable to obtain video surveillance of the incident.
The suspect's identity is unknown at this time.
This concludes my report.
