On 9/24/2025 I was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for
the City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run which had just occurred near the
intersection of Rainier Ave S and SW Grady Way Renton/King/WA. Mirabai A Pai DOB: 3/19/2002
was calling to report that her white 2020 Honda Civic WA/CTG2975 had been struck by another
vehicle which fled the scene.
Mirabai was able to get the suspect vehicle plate of WA/BUH0176 which returned to a black
2004 BMW 724 to a Leticia M Cole DOB: 5/22/1985 at a Bellevue address.
Mirabai said she was waiting at the light facing east on SW Grady Way, she said that the other
driver rear-ended her and then fled eastbound on Grady. Mirabai said that she was able to catch
up and get a photograph of the license plate. She said the suspect driver was a white female,
mid 40s. She was not able to be more descriptive but did say she could identify the other driver if
seen again.
Mirabai showed me the damage to her vehicle; it was very minor scratches on the rear bumper,
and she said she was not injured. She added the damage would be to the front bumper of the
BMW.
Mirabai said she did not want to pursue charges at this time and just wanted a report for
insurance purposes.
I provided her with a case number.
Nothing further at this time.
