The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 9/30/2025 at 0927 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision that occurred at the
intersection of Ranier Ave N and Airport Way.
I met with the victim, identified as Cynthia L. Woodstock (DOB: 02/23/1993) by WA DL, who stated
that she was traveling South on Rainier Ave N just North of Airport Way in the #2 lane. Woodstock
stated that there was a dark red or maroon SUV, possibly a Jeep, that was in the#2 lane which is
forced to merge left due to construction. Woodstock stated that the suspect vehicle attempted to
pass numerous vehicles in this lane and merge at the last second to bypass stopped traffic.
Woodstock stated that the suspect vehicle got behind her vehicle and in what she perceived as a
road rage situation, got very close to the rear bumper of her 2001 Toyota Highlander (WA LP:
LEM396P).
Woodstock stated that she felt contact from the suspect vehicle which forced the rear of her vehicle
to dip down. Woodstock stated that the suspect vehicle fled in an unknown direction, and she pulled
over to assess the damage which she determined to be minor.
Woodstock stated that she would not be able to identify a suspect for suspect vehicle in this case.
I provided her with a case number for insurance purposes.
