NARRATIVE
I was driving east bound on SW 43rd St in the left lane. After I passed through the intersection of East Valley Road/Hwy I put
on my blinker and lane changed into the right lane in front of a white van. At the exact same time, a small light blue sedan
pulled out of the shell gas station/great floors parking lot, without head checking and slammed into the rear passenger door of
my car. I heard plastic crunching and my car shook. I stopped and looked back as the car very quickly pulled into reverse,
and sped away through the great floors parking lot, exiting through the other side of the parking lot. I was unable to get a
license plate number. I could not reverse and pull into the same parking lot so I drove to the next intersection and turned
around. I came back to the accident site, assessed the damage of my car. I then picked up the plastic from the
street/sidewalk that had come off my car. I called my insurance company to report the accident. The whole thing happened
between 510-520pm. There is a camera on the far side of the great floors building. I'm not sure if the shell gas station
cameras reach far enough to the accident site.
