Because these notes are provided as information only, they are not subject to the appeal process for the land use action. Planning: (Contact: Ashley Wragge, 425-430-7314, awragge@rentonwa.gov) 1. RMC section 4-4-030.C.2 limits haul hours between 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday unless otherwise approved by the Development Services Division. 2. Commercial, multi-family, new single family and other nonresidential construction activities shall be restricted to the hours between seven o’clock (7:00) a.m. and eight o’clock (8:00) p.m., Monday through Friday. Work on Saturdays shall be restricted to the hours between nine o’clock (9:00) a.m. and eight o’clock (8:00) p.m. No work shall be permitted on Sundays. 3. The applicant may not fill, excavate, stack or store any equipment, dispose of any materials, supplies or fluids, operate any equipment, install impervious surfaces, or compact the earth in any way within the area defined by the drip line of any tree to be retained. 4. The applicant shall erect and maintain six foot (6') high chain link temporary construction fencing around the drip lines of all retained trees, or along the perimeter of a stand of retained trees. Placards shall be placed on fencing every fifty feet (50') indicating the words, “NO TRESPASSING – Protected Trees” or on each side of the fencing if less than fifty feet (50'). Site access to individually protected trees or groups of trees shall be fenced and signed. Individual trees shall be fenced on four (4) sides. Exhibit 7 Docusign Envelope ID: 8AED238B-7D7F-4B6D-85CE-622AEE29B9AE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT M E M O R A N D U M DATE: September 30th, 2025 June 20, 2011 TO: Ashley Wragge, Assistant Planner FROM: Yong Qi, Civil Engineer III, Plan Reviewer SUBJECT: Renton Municipal Airport Southeast Buildings Demolition 259 East Perimeter Rd, Renton, WA LUA25-000296 I have reviewed the application for the Renton Municipal Airport Southeast Buildings Demolition project located at 259 East Perimeter Rd (parcel No. 0723059007) and have the following comments: EXISTING CONDITONS: The project at Renton Municipal Airport is to demolish three existing buildings of Building 350, Building 330, and Building 295 of approximately 29,371 square feet footprint. WATER: The project is within the City of Renton’s water service area in the Valley 196 Pressure Zone. There is an existing 8-inch water main through the site within the parking lot to the east and south of Building 330 (Record Dwg: W-080402). There is an existing 1-1/2-inch domestic water meter for the existing Building 350 (Facility ID No. MTR-002042). There is an existing domestic water meter for the existing Building 295 (Facility ID No. MTR-018527). SEWER: There is an existing 24-inch cast Iron sewer main and associated manholes through the pavement to the east of the three buildings (295, 330, 350) (Record Dwg: S- 235702). STORM: There are existing 6-inch and 8-inch private stormwater mains and associated catch basins surrounding the existing buildings of 295 and 330 (Record Dwg: RNT 2014 BASE MAP V1.dwg), which are discharged to Cedar River through a 12-inch ductile iron located to the north of Building 289. There are existing 8-inch private stormwater mains and associated catch basins to the north of Building 350 (Record Dwg: RNT 2014 BASE MAP V1.dwg), which are discharged to Cedar River through a 24-inch concrete pipe located to the southeast of Building 289. WATER COMMENTS: 1. The existing on- and off-site water main and associated appurtenances shall be protected during the buildings’ demolition. 2. The existing fire water service lines and domestic water service lines must be cut, capped, and abandoned at the water main line. A separate water permit is required and will be created during the building permit application. a. The proposed removal of the existing fire hydrant and associated bollards to the south of Building 330 is not acceptable. The existing fire hydrant and associated bollards needs to be remained due to fire hydrants spacing requirement per Renton Regional Fire Authority. SEWER COMMENTS: 1. The existing on- and off-site sewer main and manholes shall be protected during the buildings’ demolition. 2. The existing sewer stubs shall be cut and capped at the property line. A separate sewer permit is required and will be created during the building permit application. SURFACE WATER 1. Drainage plans and a drainage report complying with the adopted 2022 Renton Surface Water Design Manual is required. Refer to Figure 1.1.2.A – Flow Chart of the 2022 Renton Surface Water Design Manual (RSWDM) to determine what type of drainage review is required for this site. a. Drainage plans and a drainage report are deemed not required since the proposed demolition of buildings will be to the top of the foundations and not considered as replaced impervious surface areas, and the proposed project will not add any new impervious surface area. b. The existing on- and off-site stormwater main and catch basins shall be protected during the buildings’ demolition. 2. Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention, Core Requirement #5: The preliminary civil plan and drainage assessment include an ESC and CSWPP plan. a. A Temporary Erosion and Control (TESC) Plan shall be included as part of the building permit application. b. A CSWPP plan shall be provided as part of the building permit application. 3. No SDC fees will be collected on City-owned properties per RMC 4-1-180.B.2.b. TRANSPORTATION 1. The proposed project is interior to the property and does not trigger street improvements as it is not adding permanent structure additions. 2. Construction staging and work will need to be coordinated with the airport prior to and during construction to ensure that airport operations are not hindered or interrupted. GENERAL COMMENTS 1. Additional Building Permit Applications will be required for the following: a. Any retaining walls that exceed 4 feet in height, as defined by RMC 4-4-040. b.
