The responses to bidder inquiries, unless incorporated into a formal addendum to the contract, are not
part of the contract and are provided for the bidders’ convenience only. The responses may be considered
along with all other information furnished to prospective bidders for the purpose of bidding on the
project. The use of information provided in the responses to bidder inquiries is not to be construed in any
way as a waiver of the provisions nor excuse the contractor from full compliance with the contract
requirements. Bidders are cautioned that subsequent responses or contract addenda may affect or vary
a response previously given and any such subsequent response or addenda should be taken into
consideration when submitting a bid for the project.
Bidder Inquiry No. 1
1. Call to Bid has two dates listed. 10/14/25 bid due date. And 10/16/25 bid opening & public read.
Confirming dates are correct.
2. Can you confirm the amount for record drawings.
3. Item #6 Workzone Safety Contingency is listed as FA with no amount listed. I also cannot find the
Special Provision for this in 1-10. Please clarify
4. Item #14 Removal of Structures & Obstructions is listed as FA EST, with no estimated amount.
Specs are not clear what is included in this item. Please clarify
5. Is there a special provision for Item #10 Construction Signs Class A
City of Renton Response to Bidder Inquiry No. 1
1. Addendum No. 1 has changed the bid opening date to Friday, 10/17/2025.
2. The amount for record drawings will be your bid amount.

5. 1-10SP is revised on page 75 of Volume 1 of the bid package.
Bidder Inquiry No. 2
1. Original bid package page order goes 12, 14, 15, 16 (14-16 are the bid schedules). Addendum 1
page order revises with the 12, 16, 16, 16 with the “16” being the same page number for all the
Schedule of Prices pages. Also, Addendum 1 Schedule of Prices pages have nothing identifying
them as being from Addendum 1. Is there a page 13 that should have been in the original bid
package? Can the numbering of the Addendum 1 Schedule of Prices be revised to include
correct page numbering system and identifying by the addenda it is from?

1. The bid package is complete. While the numbering is incorrect, the bid package pagination will
not be changed. The revised schedule of prices is attached to Addendum #1. Please note the
addendum on the revised schedule of prices.
