QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
1. Question: The traffic control phasing plans shown, can those remain in place throughout the
construction of each phase or does all lanes of traffic need to be open by end of shift?
Answer: They can remain in place.
2. Question: Should the forms for the DBE paperwork that is due 48 hours after bid time be sent
to you, or who should this information be sent to for record keeping until the bids are open on
Thursday?
Answer: Please reference Addendum #3 and below. Any forms submitted after the revised bid
time can be submitted in-person to the City of Renton City Clerk Office.
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
3. Bidders who submitted sealed bids to the City may retrieve their sealed bids from the City of
Renton City Clerk office. All sealed bids received before 11:00 AM on the 7th of October, 2025
will not be opened by the City of Renton. Any sealed bids not retrieved by the 16th of October,
2025 will be destroyed unopened.
4. Addendum #3 revises the DBE COA Goal from 13% to 0.00%. All other requirements of the
Contract, including any required DBE forms, shall still apply. Bidders are directed to submit
contractually required forms reflecting the new 0.00% goal, even if this necessitates the
response “not applicable (n/a)” or “zero (0) dollars”.
