A description of refueling of construction vehicles that will occur on the site and an inventory of hazardous materials expected to be temporarily stored, dispensed, used or handled on the site. There will be no refueling of construction vehicles on site. The hazardous materials identified in the ‘good faith inspection reports’ will be removed with demolition of the existing structures on the project site. The removal steps of hazardous materials will follow strictly of those described in the reports and meet local, state and federal regulations. b. A description of how the requirements in RMC 4 -4-030C7, Construction Activity Standards – Zone 1 and 2, will be met by the applicant. This section is not applicable, as there will be no refueling of construction vehicles on site, nor any storage, disposal, use, or handling of hazardous materials . CONSTRUCTION MITIGATION DESCRIPTION a. Proposed construction dates Construction will begin in July 2026 and run through October 2029. b. Hours and days of operation Construction hours will be between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m Monday through Friday. Work hours on Saturdays, if necessary, will be between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No work is anticipated on Sundays/Holidays. c. Proposed hauling / transportation routes Please see attached route map. d. Measures to be implemented to minimize dust, traffic and transportation impacts, erosion, mud, noise, and other noxious characteristics • Dust control – dust from earthwork and demolition will be controlled by watering during construction activities. Dust from construction vehicles traveling will be controlled by providing stabilized construction entrances. • Traffic and transportation impacts – construction deliveries will be directed onto arterial roads as soon as they leave job site. This will help reduce traffic impacts on residential streets. ‘Just-In-Time’ delivery method will be implemented as a measure to control traffic volume flows through Skanska USA Building Inc. Delivery trucks will not be staging on arterial streets and neighborhood roads that are close to jobsite. • Temporary erosion and sedimentation control (TESC) measures required by City of Renton will be implemented and maintained for the duration of the project. A TESC plan will be developed by project’s Civil Engineer and included in the final permit set for City of Renton’s review and approval. Contractor will follow the plan and install/manage the approved TESC plan. • Noise impact will be controlled by following City of Renton’s noise level regulations. Requests for variances from the requirements will be made by applying for permits when necessary. e. Any special hours proposed for construction or hauling (i.e. weekends, late nights) The project is not anticipating any work during special hours. f. Preliminary traffic control plan The project has not yet prepared a Preliminary Traffic Control Plan. Once frontage and crosswalk improvements have been reviewed and approved by the City of Renton, a traffic control plan will be prepared in accordance with CoR’s standards.
