This plat is home to dozens of tall trees that provide nesting for birds and buffers from noise. Just this evening hundreds of birds had gathered on the tree branches. I often sit on my front porch and listen to the calming sounds of the trees. The sound of the afternoon winds rustling through the leaves is a crime to lose. With the trees removed the only sound left will be cars and trucks rumbling on the Renton-Issaquah road. I also strongly oppose the half street extension of Pasco PL NE. First, you take our beautifully paved road, NE 7th Pl, and cover it with cheap, rough, black asphalt. Now you wish to add additional traffic to a road that is already a raceway for many neighbors. Please reconsider the removal of any trees and do not extend Pasco place. Thank you for your consideration.
