On 10/7/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for
the City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run which had occurred prior in the
intersection of Sunset Blvd N and Maple Valley Highway Renton/King/WA. Emily G Sinsheimer
DOB: 8/30/1980 was calling to report that someone had struck her 2022 Toyota Sienna
WA/CPD7856 and fled the scene.
Emily said that she was heading south on Sunset Blvd and turning east onto Maple Valley
Highway when a vehicle struck the driver side rear bumper causing minor damage in the
intersection. She said that she saw a silver BMW SUV swerve out from behind her, but she was
not sure if this was the vehicle that hit her.
Emily said that she did not see the driver or which way the vehicle fled the scene.
Emily said there was no injury, and she did not wish to press charges for hit and run.
Nothing further.
