At about 1905 hours on 10/08/2025 1 responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of NE 10th ST.
and Hoquiam Ave NE, in the city of Renton, King County,Washington. Dispatch advised that"LANG BARR...
2 MVA..... NON INJ... MOVING VEHS OUT OF INTERSECTION... OTHER INV REFUSING TO
SPEAK TO RP."
I arrived on scene at approximately 1914 hours and observed a maroon Honda CRV(CTV3385/WA- Unit 1)
parked on NE 10th St just east of Hoquiam Ave NE facing eastbound,with minor damage to the rear drivers
side quarter panel. I also observed a white BMW X5 (AWX5535/WA- Unit 2) parked on the left shoulder of
Hoquiam Ave NE facing southbound, with minor damage to the front drivers side quarter panel.
Driver of Unit 1 stated while stopped at the stop sign of NE 10th St (eastbound) and Hoquiam Ave NE, she then
proceeded through the intersection when the rear drivers side of Unit 1 was struck by the front drivers side of
Unit 2. Let it be noted that traffic on Hoquiam Ave NE does not have a stop sign at this intersection.
Driver of Unit 2 stated while traveling southbound on Hoquiam Ave NE at the intersection of NE 10th St., Unit
1 did not yield to traffic and proceeded through the intersection when the front drivers side of Unit 2 struck
the rear drivers side of Unit 1.
This concludes my involvement with this case.
During this incident, I was equipped with a body-worn camera,which records both audio and video. Portions
of this incident were recorded.This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an
exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured with the recording system. I
was operating a fully marked Police Tahoe which was equipped with overhead emergency lights and sirens.
