Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 10-09-2025 at 0820 hours I was dispatched to the intersection of 116th Ave SE/SE 180th PL, in the City of
Renton, County of King, State of Washington,for a reported collision that just occurred.
Dispatch advised that there were no injuries and the vehicles were not blocking the road.
Upon arrival, I contacted Unit 1 and a friend translated for her. She informed me that she was driving her
daughter to school going southbound on 116th Ave SE when someone walked across the street in front of her.
She hit her brakes in order to stop for the person crossing the road. Suddenly, she was hit from the rear by
Unit 2. She did not have any injuries nor did the child in the back seat.They declined medical attention and the
vehicle was drivable.
I contacted Unit 2 and he stated he was driving southbound on 116th Ave SE behind Unit 1. Unit 1 hit her
brakes and Unit 2 attempted to stop in time but the roads are wet and he slid into the back of Unit 1. He did
not have any injuries and did not want medical help.
I provided each Unit with my business card which contained the case number for their records. I explained
how to report this collision to their insurance and they stated they understood.
