DLState DLExp Address Primary Phone&Type AdditionalContact Number&Type Additional Contact Number&Type Race Sex DOB- Height Weight Even Hair Collision 2025-00008556 Page 2 OF 6 Case Number 2025-00008556 Officer Narrative Narrative 25-8556 On 10/02/2025 at approximately 1907 hours, I responded to a hit and run in progress located at 19100 108th Ave SE in the City of Renton, County of King, and the State of Washington. Dispatch advised that the collision occurred south of 108th AVE SE and SE 192nd ST.The victim vehicle has moved to the 76-gas station to wait for contact as the suspect vehicle fled the scene prior to the 911 call. Dispatch advised this was a Spanish speaking RP who was pregnant. Arriving on scene and utilizing language line for communication,the RP identified herself as BARRERA ZAVALA, MIRIAM L(DOB 03-17-1999).As Barrera was pregnant and stated that the jolt caused slight pain in her stomach region, as precautionary, despite her stating there were no injuries from the incident, Renton Fire Department was called on scene to check on Barrera. Barrera explained that she was the driver of Unit 2, a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse, bearing the license plate of(CFP2029)and that the registered owner of this vehicle was her husband, MARTINEZ PENA, BAYRON A (DOB 04-20-1991).The other occupants of her vehicle were her two young children. Diaz Barrera, Lilliana L(DOB 07/17/2018)and Martinez Barrera,April A(DOB 06/09/2021), both uninjured, both in car seats in the back of the vehicle.As precautionary, I advised Renton Fire Department to check on the juveniles as well as Barrera. Barreras husband and registered owner of Unit 2, Martinez, had already arrived on scene and they pointed out the damage caused to the back of the vehicle. The damages to the vehicle consisted of heavy denting and scratching alongside the back driver side bumper.The damage was all on the driver side bumper and extended upwards into the main body of the back of the vehicle. I reconfirmed the damage they are pointing out to me was the damage from the incident.They confirmed. I clarified as there were other scratches and damage alongside the vehicle. Inquiring about the incident, Barrera explained she was driving the vehicle today into the city.She approached the intersection of 108th AVE SE and SE 192nd ST,traveling northbound in lane 1 out of 3, coming up to a stale red light at the intersection. Coming to a successful stop,the vehicle traveling behind her rearended her car. She turned on her hazards and stepped out of the vehicle. Officer: Danilyuk, Isabella #1113001 Reviewed By: Date/Time: 10/12/2025 11 :22 Collision 2025-00008556 Page 3 OF 6 Case Number 2025-00008556 Officer Narrative-Continued Unit 1,the vehicle which rear-ended Barreras vehicle,was an unidentified white sedan and according to Barrera,was occupied by a white female, in her late 40's wearing a green shirt.The suspect in Unit 1 asked if Barrera was okay and then shortly after that interaction drove away from the scene,traveling eastbound on SE 192nd ST. Barreras vehicle was not equipped with video cameras. I proceeded to the 76-gas station to collect footage, as I know their cameras extend to the intersection. I was able to collect footage of the incident which captured the hit and run. Unit 2, Barrera,was traveling northbound and stopped at a stale red at the intersection of 108th AVE SE and SE 192nd ST.The video skips seconds however clearly shows the latter half of the collision and captures Unit 1 attempting to reverse.After Unit 1 reverses and stops, Unit 2 turns on its hazards and a female subject exits Unit 2 to assess the damage. Shortly after Unit 1 is seen maneuvering out of the lane and proceeding to take an eastbound turn onto SE 192nd ST. I identified Unit 1, as a white 2010 Infinity G sedan, possibly model G37, due to comparing various Infinity models,for a year by year and a side-by-side comparison of similar vehicles from the collected footage. Barrera stated she did not get a good look at the vehicle, however, could possibly identify the female driver at a later date. I proceeded to conduct and area check, as no further cameras provided me with any further suspect information. No similar vehicles were located in the area. It should be noted,that running Barreras vehicle in police databases,the damage pointed out to me on scene,which was stated to be caused by Unit 1,was captured on the backside of Unit 2 hours prior to the collision as I was able to review traffic camera footage.This footage showed damage to the back of the car, dating to the early hours of 10/02/2025, hours prior to the collision.There is no way to differentiate the damage claimed to have caused by Unit 1 from the prior damage already on the vehicle, which was observed due to footage from traffic cameras collected hours prior to the collision. Both Barrera and her husband were unable to provide with a calculated damage and wilt be advising of the calculated damage at a later time. As Barrera was pregnant and had a slight complaint of pain, utilizing a translator on scene she completed the RPD Consent for Release of Medical Information. As of right now there is no further suspect information. My involvement in this case was captured on my department-issued Axon body camera.This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been paraphrased and summarized.At the time of this call, I was in a full police uniform equipped with a Renton Police badge and police patches.
