The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 10/13/2025 at 1109 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run report that occurred overnight
between 10/12/2025 at 1900 hours to 10/13/2025 at 0800 hours at the Alaire Apartments located at
600 SW 5th Ct near the I building.
I called the victim who was identified as Minh N. Nguyen (DOB: 03/05/1989) by WA DOL. Nguyen
stated that she parked her 2024 Mazda CX-30 (WA LP: CNC6416) in the parking lot at around 1900
hours on 10/12/2025. Nguyen stated that she returned to her vehicle at around 0800 hours on
10/13/2025 and noticed that there was damage to the front drivers side door of her vehicle, making
it difficult to open her drivers side door.
Ngyyen stated that there was no suspect description or suspect vehicle description and that there
was no video footage of the incident.
Nguyen would not be able to identify a suspect in this case.
