On 1 0/1 7/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle
for the City of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle collision in the parking lot of
650 Duvall Ave NE Renton/King/WA near the J building.
I arrived on scene and located the reporting party who was identified as Shabbir Masih DOB:
2/5/1974. Shabbir said that he parked his 2012 Honda Odyssey WA/CFX8655 in a parking space
backed in. He said that sometime overnight or the morning of 10/17/25 the front passenger
wheel well was struck. Shabbir confirmed that his vehicle was not occupied at the time of the
collision.
There was minor damage to the wheel well/quarter panel that had some white paint transfer in
it.
Shabbir believed his neighbors from J1012 had done it because they have a white truck that
sometimes parks next to his. He said that he did not see the collision and his neighbors denied
it.There was no truck in the parking space or nearby while I was there.
Shabbir had no viable suspect information.
A resident if J1012 came out of the apartment and asked if I was called by her neighbor, I said
yes, and she said that neither her nor anybody from her apartment had hit the car. She said that
her red vehicle is normally parked in that spot. She did not identify herself or provide further
information.
Shabbir said there are no cameras in the area.
This case is closed pending new information.
