Renton Case#25-9038
On 10/19/2025 at 0059 hours I was dispatched to a phone report at the intersection of Benson DR S/Benson
RD S, in the City of Renton, King County, Washington. I was responding to a call of non-injury, hit and run
collision.This report is a summation of events that occurred and is not an exact sequence of events.
While en route, dispatch advised the following: 5 AGO, HIT AND RUN TO RP'S VEH, NI, NO SUSP VEH
DESC, RP NO LONGER IN AREA.
I contacted Unit 2 driver via telephone. In speaking with Unit 2 driver, he stated that while at the above
referenced intersection, he was involved in a collision. Unit 2 driver stated that while stopped for a red
Light in the northbound lanes of travel on Benson DR S, he was rear ended by Unit 1 vehicle.
Unit 2 driver said that after the collision, Unit 1 vehicle immediately drove around his still stopped
vehicle, and continued northbound on Benson DR S. Unit 2 driver was only able to identify Unit 1 vehicle
as an unknown make/model/color pickup truck.
Unit 2 driver said that as a result of the collision, Unit 2 vehicle sustained minor damage to the rear
bumper.
I provided Unit 2 driver with an Axon Community Link in which he provided pictures of the sustained
damage to Unit 2 vehicle.
As I spoke with Unit 2 driver via telephone, I did not observe the crash scene or either vehicle involved.
I provided Unit 2 driver with a case number, answered his remaining questions and then ended the
contact.
This ends my involvement in this case.
