THE CONTRACT IS MODIFIED AS FOLLOWS:
Description of Change: Adding Change Order Proposal 3.
Reason for Change: (COP 3) The airport recognized three line items in the bid that differed from
site conditions. (increase concrete removal volume, reduced excavation, increased Jbox
quantity) The airport also opted the replace the ADA parking stalls from Asphalt to Concrete.
This greatly improved the levelness of the ADA parking area. The airport also requested two
existing asphalt side walks that adjoined the new parking lot that needed to be replaced. The
airport also encountered soft soils at the Windsock apron and requested to add geofabric to
stabilize the soil. This will strengthen the soil to extend its useful life.
COP 3 = $31,971+ Sales Tax (10.3%) = $31,971+ $3,293.01= $35,264.01
Materials: See the attached price breakdown for the lump sum labor, equipment and materials.
Plans: N/A
Equitable Adjustment: N/A
Extension of Time: The Time for Completion is extended 0 Working Days.
Sections 1-04.4 and 1-04.5 of the 2018 WSDOT/APWA Standard Specifications shall govern
this Change Order. The Work of the referenced Contract is modified to include the changes
detailed herein. The payment provided for herein shall constitute the complete and final
settlement for all costs of labor, equipment, materials, overhead, profit, permit fees, and all
other claims that may be made by the Contractor as a result of this change.
