CALL TO ORDER
Ruth Perez called the meeting to order at 09:06 a.m.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Russ Olsen moved to approve the March 25, 2025, meeting minutes and James Alberson
Jr. seconds. Motion carried.
APPOINTMENTS
None.

NEW BUSINESS
Draft Edit to LEOFF 1 Rules
Erika Eddins provided an update to the board regarding the LEOFF I rules. This update
allows the Board Secretary to approve reimbursements for hearing aids for members
who are enrolled in the Kaiser Permanente insurance plan. Members can be reimbursed
for up to a maximum of $5,600 without needing to submit a claim to the board, as long
as Kaiser Permanente has been billed as the primary insurer and there is remaining out-
of-pocket patient responsibility.
Jim Matthew moved to approve the draft edit of the LEOFF 1 rules and Russ Olson
seconds. Motion carried.

Jim Phelan moved to adjourn the meeting and Jim Matthew seconds. The meeting was
adjourned at 09:10 a.m.
