Dear Mr. Anderson:
referring to our letter of June 13, 1963 written to Mr. Marve :,chroeder,
we at that time authorised the City of Renton to proceed with the instal-
lation of the 8-1n^h water main across the McKnight Junior High School
grounds, and the installation of three fire hydrants.
At that time Mr. Schroeder was going to get the coat of the materials, for
ur from quotations of the different ic.durtrial firms, and we would issue
a purchase order to yo,% for the materials so that this project could proceed.
Since gnat date we h- a not heard anyth_Ing in regards to it. The School
District is anxious to have .his work done and completed this summer if
possible - before Ju,y 1st, so that we may get the benefit of the insurance
rate when the :nsur^'ace is renewed in Jiiy.
We would appreciate it if you could get the information on the materials
for us, so that we could issue a purchase order and have th , materials ready,
so tnat it could be done possibly the early part of this summer. Tt probably
will be impossible to work on it curing the school year, but we felt If the
material was on hand, maybe you could take care of it the first thing after
school wes out for the summer.
We would appreciate hearing from you on the matter as we are as .uming that
the City still intends to continue this p-aject.

In confirmation of our recent conversation, this letter
will serve as in authorization to lne City of Renton to
proceed with installing an 8-inch water main across the
McKnight Junior High School grounds, and the installation
of three fire hydrants.
The sketch submitted shows the water main to be clear of
all buildings, so there dill be no problem.
We will appreciate your letting us know the coat after
you have received quulations from the industrial firms
interested in supplying the work and material.
