The amount of $479.20 was taken from my letter of September 19, 1967, The amount of $534.00 is comprised of the $455.62 outlined in my letter of October 5, 1967 plus a contribution by Sherwood toward the labor tort of the valve chamber, amounting to $75.00 plus tax of $3.38. This latter figure is per our phone Lonversation of October 6, 1967, 4 .Acceptance of this proposal and the subsequent payment to Sherwood of $4,259.20 will constitute final settlement of this issue. However, since the final configuration and location of the installation is still undergoing re- finement by you, we feel that it would greatly simplify the problem if we paid , ,•; the City for Sherwood's share of the work and the City performed the instal- t at ion.
