Pursuant to. our request of November 29, 1965, authority was received to
perform additional work Involving approximately 90 C.Y. of structure
oxcavation, 12 hours mechanical tamper and 280 linear feet Type 1 nestable
metal pipe 14 gauge 12-Inch diameter for a total cost of $1924.00. That
work was considered necessary to protect an existing cast Iron water main
located within the limits of embankment construction in the westeni/ portion
of the May Creek Interchange.
Subsequently, the City of Renton, owner of the utility, has suggested that
a more satisfactory installation could be obtained it the water main were
relocated. On the basis that the cost of that relocation work aid not
excead the approximate amount of $2,000.00, Mr. Gosney authorized the change
with the understanding that the work would beperformep by City of Renton
forces.

r. with :hair sketch and Estimate of Cost in the amount of $1.886.60 shows the
6-Inch water main relocation required including hydrant, service connections
and gate valves to clear the area for the completion of the RA ramp. It is

Reference is made to the Renton Water Department's letter of February 11, 1966,
transmitting an estimate of cost for the adjustment of an existing 6-inch
water wain, a fire hydrant, service meter and two 6-inch gets valves. The ad-
Justmsnts were required due to the otmetruction of the R A line ramp in the
May Creek Interchange.
Please be adrlaed that, this letter, the Water Departments letter of February 11,
1966, and our letter to Headquarters of February 17, 1966 have been designated
as Agreement No. OC-1951, two copies of these documents are attached.
All billings for this Agreement work should be references to this Agreement
number.
