Gentlemen:
We have a problem at our building at 1415 Senec.. ' .a. The Fire :
Insurance Rating Bureau rates the building at .67 and .ie col.•ents .95.
This is double what the company paid at our old location.
The increase 1s due to the lack of fire hydrants in the area. We
requested the Penton Engineering Department to assist with a solution
to solve out problem. They sutmitted a propose. with cost estimate
of $2796.01 for one fire hydrant and 3(b it of pipe, which they implied
we should pay.
We do not believe it is fair for a property owner to have to pay
for this needed improvement in an area with a tax base as large as ours.
