Washington Natural Gas - on standb. for marking out their facilities. Randy Eperson is the individual to contact. 2. Teleprompter - no facilities in the area. 3. Department of Fisheries are concerned that crossings will not be completed by September Ist and if they are not,the Dept. will shut the Job down. Loluccio respc .ded that the crossings were the Ist thing on the agenda. Al Arnet: stated that this includes restoration and everything before September 1st. Also the Dept. wants to be notified so that they can have a man stop by. i Page 3 48 hours notice must be given on all work done on State Highway Property. State Highway Depa, tmer, xcused. King County - Hr. Davis was only concerned with the 2 blocks that are in the county and remarked that as long as county standards are full owed there ■ would be no problem -- just call before starting construct;n-. ■ Water Shop requested that they be called the right before by various ' individuals involved when it entails their help. Puget Power - Fred Arnold asked that they be given notice if they need locators. Tom Trirmi Is the man to ask for in this case. He also advised ;f the contract•,- were to get to close to a pole they had to be given advance notice and there would be a special biiling for this service. Fred also asked if they wanted temporary service -- if so, suggested that they obtain their own. Also, anything involving undergrounding requires a 2-day advance notification. Pacific Northwest Bell advised that they need a day's notice. They also advised that from 38th !certain. block) up to a small house they need to instali service. They would like to put in this service before black topping is started. Ron Olsen requested that they submit a plan. Pac Belt stated they would like to be on the lake side to accomplish this. Water Shop stated they cou!d not aintaln their mains if Pac Bell was in that area. Question Has raisedif this would be a problem with the B.N. easements. Nothing was resol : Insofar as Pac Bell 's question Fire Department. Randy Price requested two items: 1) access - if is restric- ted 2 days notice so they can Provide fire protection for residents in the particular area. 2) water supply any time one of the mains might be broken notify them right away. It was brought un that Bob Puhlch needs a car with a radio for this particu- lar Job. Street Department - Vic TeGantvoort stated simpiy to nwke sure that barricades are provided on all street closures and that he bt provideu with adequate notice. 4 „ t 4 Page 2 Burlington Northern questioned how the pipe will be delivered. They definitely will need flagmen if contractor has any work n„ar track. The contractor is also responsible for all flagmen. One B.N. rep warned about the track twice. People have been hurt when they have not been notified about contractors working by the track. Burlington Northern representatives excused. METRO rep, Ed Chu, asked about two Items: 1 . To see that they have 6" or more clearance - less than 6" requires Styrofoam cushion. 2. Location - distance between truss blocks. (Coluccio Construction required they would be using shackle rods .III the way through.) Al Arnett mentioned 4 Metro crossings. Ed Chu , -d that backfill and compaction material is what they are looking for. Metro excused. State Highway Department rep, Larry Reed, questioned which side of 405 did they intend approach from. State's maintenance superintendent recommended they come In from the east side as there is nc access from the other side of 405• They have to come in through the fence - not off the highway. AI Arnett asked what the rationale was and Larry Reed replied they would have to discuss it later as the letter from the maintenance superintendent only stated NO to any approach but the east side. Larry Reed stated that plans for boring pits must be submitted for approval . They need at least two days for approval . Coluccio Constriction stated they would send a copy to the State at the same time they sent one to the RR. Mr. Reed also advised that once that start the casing, if anything should be hit, they are to go no further, simply abandon it. On travel lanes, if you interfer with them !ou must submit traffic control plans. All contacts should be with the City. Must furnish full-time Inspector on a Job that is on State Highway property. Also, we have no authorization to enter right-of-way. State advised we had better ask for it now - needs 6 weeks to fulfill . All restoration should be done to the satisfaction of the State. Any fence that is cut should be restored. Seeding should be done before September 15 and not after October 15• We have to reseed according to their instructions. Suggestion was made by another rep to obtain a key rather than cut through any of the fences. Also they would provide padlocks.
