Dear Mr. Sims:
This letter Is to serve as a written agreement between the City of Renton and
Modern Sewer Construction Co. , Inc. (hereafter referred to as "Contractor"),
for the installation of approximately 138 If of 8" Ductile Iron water main and
miscellaneous connections in the Renton Housing Authority Development of
Cvergreen Terrace which is adjacent to the Sun,ct Plaza Shopping Center. This
installation shall be In an existing 15 ft. casement.
The City shall supply at tho Water Shop facility all pipe, fittings, and
shackle rod as may be required for the Installation.. The Contractor shall
supply all other materials which may be required for a complete installation.
The Contractor shall be responsible for testing anH purification of said water
line upon completion of installation. The test pressure shall be at 300 psi.
The Contractor shall coordinate his construction with the City of Renton Water
Shop (phone 235-2646) and Mr. Lidner of the Renton Housing Authority (phone
226-.1850) 24 hours prior to -onstruction.
The Contractor s;,ali also be responsible for all restoration to the satisfac-
tion of the Rento-i Housing Authority. Upon completion of said restoration
a letter of reloase shall be obtained from the Housing Authority and
delivered to the City.
The price for the above installation shall be a lump sum prise of $1 ,800.00
plus sales tax at 5.4% or S97.20.
If the above agreement meets with your approval , sign the uriginai and one
copy and return them to theCity of Renton.

of several tie mains which will provide interties with other mairs which are
alrezdy Installed. Easements will be required on the large water mains of
15' •Hidth (to the City).
Ore long tie main on 'he northeast corner of the site will have to be
installed to the existing 6" deadend line in Evergreen Estates complex. The
City water utility will participate in the cost of the main off the shopping
renter site.
