A. Dotting Co. sitc plan which we understand has been -aviewed and approved by the Washington Surveying and Rating But au. Since the sprinkler system service is independent of this line, sprinkler flows are not of significance in determining the flow rates from the 8-inch main. Mr. Rossworn of Bottings has only one plct plan stai,,,.ed by the Washington Surveying and Rating Bureau at the present time, but is processing additional sets of plans this corning week and will see that you re, ful.iished with the number you need. The City Staff dis,ussed th., depth of Fire Hydrants, and allowable depth of cover on the water malts. The City Staff discussed City specifications and material re,;-irevents. A set of City specifications was given t, Bob Fitch. The amity staff directed _lE t only City specified materials valves F fittirge would be accepted. Testing proceedures were outlined to the contractor, flushing water for a reasonable amount will be at no charge. If however there is an excessive amount of water used, a meter will be used t the contractor billed for this excess. The City will not allow a direct connection to the Ex. 12" watermein. The contractor will be required to fill, test ti flush seperate from the 12"x9" tie in. Pressure tests will be made se per APWA Specifications for B" cast Iron Pipe. at 300 Pot for 15 minutes.
