According to the records in the Fire Department on December 3, 1980, they checked the hydrant and found it to be dry. How- ever, they did rit send a corrective action slip to the Voter Shop and as of this memo .;te the Fire Department has n..t been able to locate any such correspondence. In your letter, you note that the 12 inch main labeled "developer extension" is necessary to serve the Phase 2 development and is, therefore, not intended for cost participation by the City. 1 have enclosed the results of some preliminary calculations which indicate that the Phase 2 development can be adequately served with an 8 inch line in this location.
