11 E E T I N G N O T E S
N.aeting held at Renton City Hall , 24 November 1982. The following persons
were in attendance: Richard Houghton - Public 'Works Director: Bob Burkheimer -
Burkheimor Property Management: Bob Reed - Bush, Reed G Hitchings, P.S. ;
arett L. Hansen - Mulvanny Architects; Ron Olson - utility engineer.
1 . ',,ichard Houghton indicated that it would be necessary to relocate
existing street light along Like Avenue back five feet from its
present 1-,cation so that it clears the proposed five foot sidewalk.
2. It would only be necessary to patch certain areas along the proposed
curb and gutter section along Lake Street.
1. No additional catch basins are necessary along new curb and gutter
at Lake Street, provided the new gutter can adequately drain to the
existing catch b„sins at each corner.
4. Bob Burkheimer indicated that he would prefer to deed the five foot
strip for the sidewalk to the City of Renton. Mr. Houghton foresees
no problem regarding 'his item.
5. Bob Burkneimer requested that the existing gas light standard at the
northeast corner be removed, rather than relocated.
6. °on Olson explained that the improvements listed below in items 7 and
8 are because of the provisions of the City of Renton's "off-street"
ordinance.
7, Ron Olson indicated that Emil Villa's would have to provide a fire
hydrant at the location requested by the fire Department at the
northeast corner of their site. The hydrant would be served by an
approximate eight inch (8") diameter pipe across the parking lot to
the existing main on Tobin Street. Mr. Olson further stated that it
would be necessary to clo,e this loop by extending an eight inch (8")
pipe easterly along the property line from the aforementioned hydrant
to the existing eight inch line at the intersection of Lake Avenue
and Airport Way.
8. Black Angus, for their off-site improvements, will Le - •quired to
replace the existing four inch (411) main between the Lake Avenue and
Tobin Street intersection end the existing fire hydrant on the east
side of Lake Street about halfway dowr the block towards Airport Way.
The cost of this improvement v ,uld be ck,r^4 with the owner across
Lake Avenue South (Sunset Press, Mr. mrond - 255-7400; owner's
