On January 11, at a meeting which you attended, the Board of
Public Works reviewed your request for a variance from the
following requirements in conjurctlon with the construction of
the parent/child center at NE 7th Street: and Monroe Avenue NE
on the RVTI campusi
1) installation of curbs and sidewalks on Monroe
Avenue NE adjacent to the project
2) Replacement of curb and sidewalk on NE 7th Street
3) Iustallatlon of 10-inch water main between NE 7th
Place and NE 7th Street
It was the Board's decision to grant a determent of the
improver to as requerted for a period net to exceed two yearn
for the following reasons: lack of a total improvement program
for Monroe Avenue NE and ia,.k of grades that would be con,.tsteut
