We are i.1 receipt of the request for lot line adjustment
for the properties owned by Khuyen Cong is. The requested
lot line adjustment does appear to be satisfactory with the
exception that the legal descriptions provided will not be
arcepted by the Department of Assessments at King County,
The legal uescriptions can be illustrated in attachment 2
of 3 of the lot line adjustment . The following general format
would apply to lot f9:
Lot /9, 8entun Sunset Addition, (recording information) ,
less an area (defined by meets and bounds description)
pl_1:1 an area Lot 08, Renton Sunset Addition, (recording
information) , described as follows: (meets and bounds
description).
It would appear that the only method of obtaining the correct
descriptions for the appropriate areas being transferred
from lot to lot would be through a rerord of survey completed
and staked in the field.
It. should he noted that an adjustment between lot /9 and
lot #10 moving the lot line a minimum of 4.5 feet easterly
will be necessary to correct the encroachment into the
required 6' side yard on the east side of the to home.

Contrary co what it may appear 1 nave pursued resolving Mr Le's setback
problem.
Mr Ron Olson with Renton Engineering Department approached us regarding
an anticipated water line rroblom, which after considerable effort, i
found it to be no problem at all . Subsequently i called Mr. Olson no at
least four occasions without a returned call . This week I will personally
go to his office Nod resolve the Lot 9 water tine problem and setback.
Mr. Espinoza was in my office approximately three weeks ago at which time
I again discussed the setback problem vith Le's home. i give hlme the
dimensions and footafle exported and requested consideration for an equit-
able settlement. Mr. Espino;•i assured me he would get back to me, and I
trust he will .
As I said before and reiterate again, we wti.l re'a1ve th,, prntlem ind •-nrcur
that it is Vasa's error. Often problems are not resolved overnight and
this is no exception.

Dear Mr. Froelich:
In response to your letter of July 25. 1980, enclosed you
wail find a copy of the Lot Line Adjustment which vas submitted
to this office.
In response to your question, the Planning Department will
not approve the requested Lot Line Adjustment until all City
departments are satisfied that their needs and requirements
have been complied with. I spoke with Ron Olsen of the Utilities
Engineering Division, and he suggests that a meeting be held
with his Division to discusa the question of the easement
for the waterline. Mr. Ron Nelson of the Building Division
also suggested a similar approach as it relates to the structure,
location and setback requirements. Upon receiving all necessary
documents, our normal procedure would be approval within
a period of one or two working days.

Dear Mr . Froelich:
We are in receipt of the request for lot line adjustment
for the properties owned by Khuyen Cony Le. The requested
lot line adjustment does appear to be satisfactory with the
exception that the legal descriptions provided will not be
accepted by the Department of Assessments at King County.
The legal descriptions can be illustrated in attachment 2
of 3 of the lot line adjustment . The following general format
would apply to lot /9:
Lot 19, Renton Sunset Addition, (recording information) ,
less an area (defined by meets and bounds description)
plus an area Lot 08, Renton Sunset Addition, (recording
information) , described as follows: (meets and bounds
description) .
It would appear that the only method of obtaining the correct
descriptions for the appropriate areas being transferred
from lot to lot would he through a record of survey completed
and staked in the field.
It should be noted th-� en adjustment between lot 09 and
lot 110 noving the lo• line a minimum of 14. 5 feet easterly
will be necessary to irrect the encroachment int the
required 6' side yar.. on the east side of the Lc, home.

Your continued nonaction in solving this problem leads me
to tho conclusion you are not intend!.:g to do anything. I
will be out of my office two weeks until June 30. If
there is not firm progress towards resolution of this bound-
ary line by then, I will have no other alternative but tO
recommend to Mr. Le that suit be instituted against you.
As I am informed, the boundary line problem has been appar-
ent to you for almost a year now, and it has been well over
half a year sinco you promised in writing to accept the re-
sponsibility and make proper. corruction. Your continued
nonaetion cannot be accepted, and this letter is to advise
you. ,

I wrote to you March 14, concerning the side lot line
problem of Mr. Le on the above premises, a house built
by you. To date the easement encroachment problem has
not been corrected, nor, as nearly as I can tell, have
you undertaken with the City of Renton to straighten
this out.
You assured Karen Jack of the Homeowners warranty
Council in a letter of December 7, 1979, that it was
Vasa Uones's responsibility to correct this error, and
it will be clone.
I have had numerous conversations and correspondence
with the Planting and Engineering Department and Building
Divisiun of the City of Renton Public Works Department.
I have a copy of a letter dated May 2, sent to you by
Ronald Olson of the City of Renton inquiring what your
