Gentitmen:
Mobile Oil Company is holding the latecomer agreement for the 16" water main
installed in Lind Ave. SW from SW 16th .it. to SW 27th St. Under the subject
agreement he Austin Co. owes the Mobile Oil Co. $33,964.9b for their
share of the developers installation costs.
It is my understanding the Austin Co. wishes the $33,964.96 ba applied in
assessment form against their property and included within L.I.U. No. 302.
Local Improvement District No. 302 assesses the Austin Co. property for
improvements •,onnected to Lind Ave. SW other than the installation for the
16" water main, and offers a ten year payment period.
It is my recommendation we ask the City Attorney for his legal approval
concerning year request. please provide this office with a 'otter of request
for the transfer of the $33,964.9b from latecomer status to an additional
assessment to be included within LID No. 3112, so that we can forward your
letter to the City Attorney for his review.

Dear Mr. He street:
We have received and reviewed your letter of agreement concerning conditions
that would allow the installation of a security enclosure at the above build-
ing. This agreement as written, carrot be signed by this department until
the following items are included:
1. Plans will be submitted to t1he Fire Department for approval prior to
installation.
2. Should the Fire Department find conditions that would prevent immedia_e
access to the =rtyard by fire emergency 7ehicles, the Fire Department
will order immedivte correction of the condition or obstruction. Failure
to im.iediately, correct the situation will result in a Fire Department
written order to remove the fences 4rithin a specified time limit.
3. It shall be clearly understood and agreed by all parties that; should
removal of the security fences be ordered by the Fire Department, the
entrances to the court yards will be restored to the same condition as
existed prior to the installation.
The above items shall be included in the basic agreement to allow the
security fences to be installed. This complex had been designed and acc-
epted to meet only minimum Fire Department access Due to the fact that
the installation of the security fences further restricts Fire Department
access, the conditions listed as items 1 through 4 in your letLer of June
4? 1980 shall be included together with the above listed items to maintain
minimum access.

The Prudential Insurance Company of America, the building
owner , agrees to insert the above conditions in any of its
future lease agreements so long as the gates remain extant.
The Fire Department shall have the right to inspect the
premises at any time to ensure that the above conditions havy
been met. Should at any time these conditions not be met, the
Fire Department shall have the immediate right to request The
Boeing Company to comply with the conditions set forth.

Dear Mr. Gonnason:
Don Grosso and I wish to thank you very much for the opportunity
of discussing the L. I.D. 's concerning Raymond Avenue, Lind Avenue
and Southwest 19th Street with you and your colleague.
Following our conversation, we wish to request that the repayment ,
schedule for Raymond Avenue and Lind Avenue be extended from ten
(10) to fifteen (15) years.
In addition, we ask that the latecomers charge, concerning the
water main in Lind Avenue, be combined into the L.I.D. for this
street.
Your assistance in having these modifications made to the L.I.D.
provisions would be greatly appreciated.
We also thank you for the guidance which you and other members
of the City staff have imparted to The Austin Company recently.
