S. 2nd St. Renton, Washington Gentlemen: It has come to our attention via the Fire Department that a fire hydrant with guard Posts has been damaged In your complex. At the present time, our files show that the Lyons Restaurant system has never been accepted by the City of Renton for maintenance. Therefore, you are requested to contact a contactor who holds a current business license with the City of Renton to come in and make the necessary repairs to said damaged fire hydrant. The City would like the waterline, fire hydrants and all appurtenances turned over to the City for maintenance. However, certain work remains to be done before the City will accept the system. The unfinished work includes: I. Cost Data and Inventory 2. Corrected easement for waterline 3. Corrected Bill of Sale 4. Final field inspection of site by City Inspector. Attached hereto is a copy of the as-built drawing showing the actual waterline location in relationship to the easement. As you can see, a portion of the waterline, together with the damaged fire hydrant, lies outside the easement. We require a corrected legal description be prepared on our standard utility easement form. We are in receipt of the Bill of Sale for the project. It, too, is in error. The monetary consideration is One Dollar (SI.00) for legal transfer of the system. Perhaps the $14.400.00 is the cost data figure for the waterline installation required finder Item 1.
