A developer will be granted a credit of 60A of the current 3/4" water service Cost
for installing the stub portion of the water service when he rakes a meter applica-
tion. this credit Is based on a portion of Ordinance d3056, City of Renton,
Washington, which amends Chapter 2 of Title III (Departments) of Ordinance #1628
entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" pertaining to the Water
Department, relating to charges, installations, fees and procedures.
Section 3-206, Subsection (F) as amended:
(F) Whenever it is deemed prudent, in case of a now development
f subdivision, to install the service f:7m the main to the
property line, hereinafter referred to as "stub service"
prier to conpletion of street construction, the City will
provide such service for sixty percent (eo%) of the then
current installation cast for such service. At ouch time
that meter installation is requested, the remaining balance
of the then current rate shall be collected and paid for by
such developer or sub-divider.
It is agreed by Arthur D. Gustafson
and, THE CITY OF RENTON, that at the time o' water meter installation the
difference between the stub service charge ur credit and the service charge then in
effect when the meter is Installed (as established by City Council) will have to be

your land. It may be over the years you have paid taxes on 4.62 acres Instead
of 3.74 acres, a difference of 38,330.22 sq. ft. or almost 9/10 of an acre.
There are 43,560 sq. ft. in one acre.
Also, the money you have paid under the system development fee fc - each
Individual lot stands as a credit toward the Community Facility Connection
charge for each lot, and is on record in the Building Department.

Dear Mr. Gustafson:
On Ma ''9, 1981 under Permit No. 2874 you pail the System Development Fee for
water service at 5.01 per square foot in the amount of 52,012.47 and for
sanitary sewer service at $.0111 per ,quare foot in the amount of $2,233.84
for the plat of the Gustafson Addition. The square footage of your property
was Calculated from the King County assessor's map based on 4.62 acres. A
copy of the assessor's map is enc;osed for yaur easy reference.
After subsequently receiving an accurate survey of your pla: from Mr. Oyler,
the area of your plat was checked for ensure by our engineering department as
a matter of routine. In comparing the plat computations with King County
record- we find a discrepancy in the area. The difference in calculations are
as fol ;ows:

of constructing, maintaining, repairing, altering or reconstructing said
utility, or making any connections therewith, without incurring any legal
