may be necessary to enter upon said above described property for the purpose
of constructing, maintaining, repairing, altering or reconstructing said

taining, repairing, altering or reconstruction of such utility shall be

This easement, shall be a covenant running with the land and shall be bind-
ing on the Grantor, his successors, heirs and assigns. Grantors covenant that

Dear Gary:
On .rune S, 1990, we awarded a contract to .Archer Con,truction Company,
Kent, Washington, for the installation of two fire hydrants, with 12"
watermains, at the Renton Stadium, You will recall the City of Renton
requested we secure bids on a 12" line as well as an 8'1 line and they
would assume the difference in cost. We will bill the City of Renton
the difference of $9,99s.o0 plus tax. 'rhe City of Renton has recommended
acceptance of the work performed by Archer Construction. We will prepare
the requested easement and bill of sale thus transforring the responsibility
for maintenance to the City of Renton.
Therefore, 1 am recommending the following action be taken:
The contract with Archer Construction Company, Kent, Washington
be accepted as complete according to the plans and specifications.
The amount of the contract is $29,635.00 plus Washington State
Sales Tax of $1,570.66 for a total contractual award of $31.205.66.

Bids for the installation of two fire hydrants at the Renton Stadium
were opened at In:00 a.m. on Monday, June 2,
received. 1980. Six bids were
The low bidder .or the installation of the 12" main was Archer
Construction, Inc. , Kent, Washington. In checking with the City of
Renton Engineering Department, they are familiar with this firm and
would recommend we accept their bid. You will recall the City of
Renton requested we secure Aids on a 12" line as well Rs an 8" line
and they would assume the difference in cc,t. We will bill the City
of Renton the difference of $9,995 Pius Washington State Sales Tax
upon completion of the project.
Therefore. I am recnnuaen,ding the following .ctiun he taken:

RENTON STADIUM FIRE PROTECTION
SCOPE OF WORK
Furnish all labor, material, equipment and supplies needed to fully
perform the work shown on the Plans and in accordance with all appli-
cable codes and ordinances. All work must also conform to the City of
Renton standards.
The Base Bid shall be for the work as called for on the Plans. The
Alternate Bid shall consist of the installation of an B" line in-
stead of the 12" line shown on the Plans. All necessary fittings
needed to connect to the existing 12" line shall be included in the
Alternate Bid.
All pavement cuts must be promptly restored to their original con-
ditions. The Contractor shall submit an as built set of drawings
,apon completion of the Contract showing stationing of all bends,
tees, valves and caps.
