hereinafter called "Grantor(s)", and the CITY OF RENTON, a Municipal Corporation of King
County, Washington, hereinafter called "Grantee".
WITNESSETH:
That said Grantor(s) , for and in consideration of the sum of S 1 Q0
paid by Grantee, and other valuable consideration, do by
these presents, grant, bargain, sell , convey, and warrant unto the said Grantee, its
successors and assigns, an easement for public utilities (including water and sewer) with
necessary appurtenances over, through, across and upon the following described p•nperty
in King County, Washington, more particularly described as follows:
A strip of land over a portion of the south 230 feet of she east 19F
feet of the west 22F feet of the north five acres of the west half of
the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section 9, township
23 north, ranee 5 east, W.M. , said strip being T5.00 feet in width having
10.00 feet on the north side and 5.00 feet on the South side of the follow-
inq described line:
Beginning at the north quarter corner of said section 9, thence
S 00r'09'20" E alone the north-south centerline of said section 9
235.00 feet; thence S 88006'00" E 30.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING of the herein described line; thence continuing
S 88006'00" E 110.00 feet to the terminus of the herein described line.

Said heretofore mentioned grantee, its successors o, assigns, shall have
the right, without prior notice or proceeding at law, at such times as may be
necessary to enter upon said above described property for the purpose of construct-
ing, maintaining, repairing, altering or reconstructing said utilities, or making ())
any connections therewith, without incurring any legal obligations or liability --
therefore, provided, that such construction, mdintaining, repairing, altering or
reconstruction of said utilities shall be accomplished in such a manner that the
private improvements existing in the right(s)-of-way shall not be disturbed or
damaged, they will be replaced in as good a condition as they were immediately
before the property was entered upon by the Grantee.
The Grantor shall fully use and enjoy the aforedescribed premises, including
the right to retain the right to use the surface of said right-of-way if such use
does not interfere with installation and maintenance of the utilities. 1:owever,
the grantor shall not erect buildings or structures over, under or across the
right-of-way during the existence of such utilities.
This easement, shall be a covenant running with the land and shall be binding
on the Grantor, his successors, heirs and assigns. Grantors covenant that they
are the lawfill owners of'the abode properties and that they have a good and lawful
right a this agrepient.

Dear Sirs:
It has come to our attention in the review of our old open files
that there is a legal document that has still not been completed
for the above-referenced project. Every major utility extension,
both water and sewer, must be properly transferred to the City of
Renton for owrership, operation and maintenance.
In order to properly transfer ownership to the City of Renton, a
Bill of Sale form is required. As owner of the subject property,
it is your responsibility to have this doCL.Ment prepared. A blank
form is enclosed for your use, together with a plan of your water-
line and fire hydrant installation. Also, we require your water-
line plan be as-built and so ce"tified by a professional engineer.
It is suggested that you contact your engineer to aid you in PIT-
paring this document and plan.
The installation of your fire hydrant was a requirement to meet
your fire flows by the City of Renton Fire Department. We have
been trying to get this paperwork taken care of since the comple-
tion of you facility here in Renton in 1980.
Your earliest attention to this matter would be gratefully appre-
ciated. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call
the number listed above.
